Moore wishes to take his wife to the Colony when he goes, Court to be allowed a passage for his wife after he has made arrangements for her in the Colony.
In recommending these candidates Sir R. Rawlinson remarks that "personally I think a Clerk of Works will be better married than single considering the place and the work", and if the Secretary of State sees no objection, we propose to provide a free passage to the Colony for Mrs Moore with her husband, and to insert a clause in the agreement to be signed by Mr Court that if he decides within six months after his departure from England, to have his wife sent out, a free passage shall be provided for her.
